Funeral expenses insurance program

Tamkeen Insurance Company offers special insurance solutions to ensure the provision of funeral expenses in case of the insured’s death, to spare the deceased’s family from any financial burdens and protects them from bearing the funeral’s expenses.

Coverages and Limitations:

Under Tamkeen’s Funeral Expenses Insurance Program, the company is obligated to cover the funeral expenses of the insured in the case of death, according to the following:

• Upon the death of the insured, Tamkeen Insurance Company is obligated to disburse an amount of 10,000 shekels in cash to the beneficiaries whose names are listed in the policy to cover the funeral expenses.

• The minimum age of the contributor when joining is 18 years and the maximum is 50 years.

• Insurance coverage is valid after 3 months from the date of subscription for the first year of insurance only.

Compensation Mechanism:

The company must be notified in-writing of the death of the insured within (90) days from the date of death, and the notification is accepted from the beneficiary or his/her legal representative. The death must be proven and the necessary documents shall be attached.
